The dash came out nice and I can't
wait to start installing things but I'll have to wait a little longer.
You can also see a mess of wires that were covered by the sheet. I'm
going to start mounting some of it under the dash in the next day or so
to get it out of the way. When I start the wiring, I can install my dash
        extender as well.

I made a trip to the chrome shop and
one of the things that became shiny was my hood-rails. I really like how
they look with the receiver blocks (purple pieces) inserted in them.
It's hard to see but the bracket that holds my fuel regulator (behind my
        plug wires) was chromed too.

Here is a shot of the hood rail to
show the end of it. If
		you
remember awhile ago, I added a piece to the end at the same angle as
the body and then enclosed it. The reason for this was two things, one,
to hide the cables that open the hood. The cables ended up showing a
small amount so the new ends would hide them. Second, it gives them a
more finished look. They sure do look good against that orange
        paint.

When the hood sides were sent over to
get painted, I removed the Dzus fittings by drilling out the two rivets
that held them in. All I had to do was to remove a small amount of paint
from the two rivet holes and then install the rivets again. If all goes
        well, things should still lineup.
