Here we are with both brackets welded
in place. Notice the two old brackets on the top of the rear-end tube.
The link assembly fits great, like if I planned it.

Welding the brackets on was hard
because I had to lay on my back and sideways. Notice the foot pedal up
against the jack-stand for support. I did one side like this and it
worked fine. But when it came to the other side, I couldn't use the same
setup so I just put the foot pedal on the floor and used the side of my
foot to press the pedal down.....not an easy task!!

While I had the welder fired-up, I had
two more brackets to weld. This is for the brake line fittings. The
braided stainless line threads to the solid line through a fitting that
attaches to this bracket. I used one of my clamps to locate the bracket
and then welded it in place.

This is how it looks when it's all in
place. The only thing that has to be done is flair the end of the tubing
to 37 degrees, add the fittings and then I can screw the tubing on.
