Here is what it looks like all done.
It's allot harder to weld under something than it is sitt'n at a bench.
I know the weld shouldn't break so that's the main thing.

One other thing I needed to do
is to
cut out the piece above the trans mount. My original plan was to use a
Turbo 400 transmission with a Gear Vender overdrive unit (which is how I
ordered the chassis) but after seeing that large hump, I had second
thoughts. I thought about cutting the
floor of the car but because the hole would end up in front of the seats,
the piece would have to go. I was going to remove the existing piece and
replace it with another one that will be flat.

Here is the piece I cut from the
chassis and will now be discarded.

The rough edges have all be ground and
is now ready for some new pieces to be welded in. Notice all the
grinding grit on the ground.
