It's Finished Continued

 

Here is the back where the bands come together. And you can see where the wire exits the base as well.
 

 

 
All the bands fit pretty good.
 

 

 
I didn't sand the base to make it lighter but I did sand the door.

I turned the overhead lights off and took this shot. Now this isn't the best picture but you get the idea.
 

 

 
That small LED light puts out plenty of light.
 

 

 
The ball bearing shouldn't rust with the clear on it.
 

 

 

This was a bigger project than I first thought, and took almost a month to complete. But I had a lot of fun building, engineering, coming up with solutions, working through problems, to make my son-in-law's vision come true.

Also, I'd like to give a big shout-out to my son-in-law, Jon, for having such a great idea for this birthday present for my daughter. What a great idea! Happy Birthday Tracey, I hope you both enjoy it for many years to come and may God bless you and keep you both. I love you guys so very much!
