It's All Finished

 

Here it is all done. The three coats of polyurethane look pretty good and is very smooth.
 

 

 

The screws holding the sides together are hidden pretty well so it paid off making the plugs out of the face grain.
 

 

 

I think he heart and knots look good together.
 

 

 

Here you can see the relocated lid support. And I took the time to fill the screw hole as well.
 

 

 

Lots of room to put lots of toys. Or when Audrey gets older, she can put anything she wants in there.
 

 

 

That piano hinge looks right at home here.
 

 

 

The front and back are alike and make it easy to lift off the floor with two people.
 

 

 

This was by far the largest project that I've ever made at 42"X 26"X 18".
 

 

 

I sure do like the branding iron my daughter Angela bought me.
 

 

 

Nice rounded edges make it easy to touch and be around.
 

 

 

I hope Audrey likes her Christmas present. Have fun little one!
