I bought some hard lines to run from
my transmission to my radiator which are for cooling the trans fluid. There
are two lines that have to be bent and they have to bend around a few
things to make the connections so I brought out the tubing bender. This
line is 51 inches long but I will only be using 40 inches of it.

After some careful measuring, I had
some lines that should fit. In the picture below, the ends on the right
will be going to the transmission. From there they will run around the
transmission housing, up to and around the starter. Then they run along
the side of the oil pan in route to the radiator. One line will have to
make a 90 degree bend around the front of the oil pan and the other will
end where the other takes the turn. The two lines have slightly different bends in
them so they can run next to each other. Notice the four fittings next
to the lines. I cut these off because I'm going to use AN fittings on
both ends instead of the double-flared ones that they came with.

Here are most of the fittings that
will be used for the lines. It looks like too many but it's not. The
large box has Earls #6 Auto-fit braided steel hose inside.

The fitting that will be going into
the radiator has 1/8" pipe on one end but the through-hole was to small for my
liking so out came the drills. I went from .185" to .275"
diameter. On the other end of the fitting is #6 AN and its hole was
already at this larger diameter. In other words, the hole that goes
through now is .275" diameter. This made them the same size all
the way through but did make the wall thickness thinner on the one end
but not to thin.
