The 17th. annual Garden of Angels Car Show was held on Saturday, October
19th. at the Desert Lawn  Memorial Park in Calimesa, Ca. The show
hours ran from 8am to 3 pm and they had a good turnout. We arrived at
about 8:00 which is later than normal but we wanted to park closer to
the exit this year after seeing how last years show was run. They had a
pancake breakfast that morning and a BBQ lunch that started around 11:00
that day. Lots of vendors showed up selling all kinds of things from
food to makeup. They also had a DJ playing old school music, a huge
raffle, lots of specialty drawing and 50/50 opportunity as well.
The weather that day was great with temps in the low 80's and mostly
clear skies which made for a nice show. Speaking of which here are some
of my favorites that made the show that day.

When this car pulled into the show allot of people heard it but not
because of a loud exhaust note, it was from the front spoiler scraping
the ground. The big guy standing near the car is one of the crew.

Minutes later I saw another guy wiping down the car with

The sign is from the car above which says it all (take a
look at the two guys from above).

This engine is from the truck above. Is it me or does this look like
		chrome plated dryer duct?

Same engine, with the fuse block mounted on the engine side of the
firewall. I would think this would fare much better if it were on the
		inside away from the elements.
