This was a very clean El Camino.
|

One thing I didn't understand about the El Camino was the air intake
system. Notice the hole in the hood which makes good use of the air
coming from the cowl or 'cowl induction'. Also take note of the two
ducts coming from the front of the air box.

Here you can see the front of the ducts that bring in cool air to engine
but with a cost of looking kinda of funny. The cowl induction would
provide more than enough cool air vie the air box around the carb so I
don't know what he was thinking.
