I'm drawn to cars setup like this because it reminds me of my first
encounter with the gasser look. My good friend
Gary had a 55 Chevy back
in the early 70's which looked a look like this one. Gary's was the
Shifters Car Club's race car which was setup for drag racing.

Note the cheater slicks and larger fender wells.

Fender well headers and a straight axle scream 'old
school' when I seem them which is still very cool in my book.
