On Friday, March 22nd. Wildwood Calvary Chapel in Yucaipa, CA. had their first annual
car show and BBQ which ran from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. This was an outreach
car show that included worship and a message by Pastor Poncho Juarez that
started at 7:00 pm. The message was suppose to be for men only but I
spotted a few women once I was inside. As for the message, it was very
good and I hope they do this again next year. This show was a last minute deal for the church
but it turned out to be pretty good because there was a nice turnout of
cars, music was playing, a guy was interviewing people about their cars
during the show and they had a BBQ that didn't cost very much. All in
all, it was a pretty good show despite the fact that it was a word of
		mouth kind of deal.
Let's take a peek at some of the vehicles that made it that evening
because there were a few that I've never seen before.

I've never understood why some people park the wrong
way at car shows. I'm sure they know better but there they are.

I've seen this short track car at a few different shows and it seems like
he always drives it to them, with open exhaust. A few years ago Larry
and I were at the Oak Glen car show and once we had parked and wiped
down the cars, we heard the sound of a clean sounding engine echoing off
the canyon walls. We both looked at each other trying to find an answer
to the sound of a high revving engine going through the gears way before
day break. You guessed it, this was the car and he drove it to this show as well. Maybe he's a cop...or maybe he
		knows one!

This truck belongs to a friend of mine, Steve that owns Famous Tires in
		Banning. His business was called

		Accelerations a few years
ago but has since been sold, bought again by Steve and renamed to Famous
Tires. Steve is a great guy and has done work for just everyone that I
		know, including my truck.
