As I was taking a picture of this car, the owner came walking up and
talked to me for a few minutes. I asked him a question about his engine
which you can see below.

I noticed that he had some old style Chevy valve covers and asked him if
he'd ever had any problems with them? What I mean is, these particular
covers have a left and right to them and if you put them on the wrong
way, the rocker arms will rub a hole through the side. The guy said that
he'd never had them off in over 16 years. Huh??? After my eyebrows
raised and a quick shake of the head, I continued on to the next car.

This dog was following two guys around (to the left) and
has the right idea laying down in the shade because it was warm.
