Art Project  1                                               12-2020

 

I decided to make another art project because I just finished making two different Christmas presents for both grandkids. This project as you can see will use some various gears and parts from a motorcycle. These parts were given to me by my daughter Tracey back when she worked in a motorcycle shop a few years ago.

I've made other Art Projects before and like those, I won't tell you what I'm making. But if I do my part, it shouldn't be that hard to tell what I was trying to accomplish. This is a small project and won't take long to make so let's get started.
 

 

 
Cleaning

 

I'm using lacquer thinner to clean all the parts because I'll be welding then together. This will make sure there is no oil on any of the parts.
 

 

 
Welding

 

Here I'm welding some gears together along with a bearing.
 

 

 
I'm adding two stainless steel screws to the gear.

 I'm going to keep two and give away the center one as a Christmas present. These were fun and easy to make and I'll have to come up with another art project soon.
